It begins at HOME. It is nurtured by our life styles. HATE is taught. We must take a stand today as this condition of our society will continue to explode. We have allowed God to be taken from our country, our churches, our schools, and now even our HOMES. Children spend more time with MEDIA today than any other time spent. Thus....The media plays a large role in the violence in society. The media, such as television, music, computer and video games, the Internet are available to everyone all the time. People watch and listen usually oblivious to the messages the media is sending. There are two types of media that are usually violent, and not only are they affecting society, they are mainly affecting the youth. Music and video games are widely available and explicitly violent. This paper will show several examples of how music lyrics and video games affect society, especially younger people, in a violent way. We can blame it on almost anything, a mental condition, lyme disease, so many guns, our economy, the media, but really the bottom line is we have allowed our society to compromise and to be lead down this path. Our childrn today have no respect. We have and continue to allow the moral fabric of our country, churches, government, and family to decay. It is ok, it is their right, their choice, same sex relationships, hey its their right, dolls that claim Islam is the light, but take prayer out of schools, Harry Potter is ok, he does good magic, we have allowed compromise into our society, and the standard of God we have pulled down to our LEVEL rather than reaching up to GOD and His standards. Hey playing with a pregnant BARBIE doll, and one that a young child can tattoo with a enclosed tattoo gun, but we say its washable, its just a doll. We have lost respect for GOD? Yes that is right, we have the same pride as Jonaha, we are better than others? If you are a Christian, Please help us make a difference, take back what we have lost, help teach our children and grandchildren to Reach up to a GODLY standard, not our own, for Compromise brings decay and that is what our world is at today Think about these facts below?
