Award Program
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: In my travels upon the internet in research for permission and use of certain pages and articles.... most all authors, owners, have willingly given us such permissions simply just to "ask" rather than steal.
Some will even allow you to "copy and paste". Some want acknowledgement, others do not. Yes it takes time, but it is the honorable thing to do. If a author says NO then it simply means NO, plain and simple. Sharing information is what the worldwide Internet is about and our programs are for the children.

There is always talk about "Fair Use" Here is what the United States Copyright Office definds Fair and copyright use as : Copyright protects the particular way an author has expressed himself; it does not extend to any ideas, systems, or factual information conveyed in the work. Permission for some materials in this web site were granted for use under one or more of the following licenses by the author of the materials: FreeBSD Documentation License Creative Commons licenses(not compatible with the GFDL) Design Science License Free Art licenseOpen Content License Open Publication License Common Documentation License
Sometimes even in our research we have found that there are materials we might post upon our site to which we have contacted the persons who claim to own them. They give us permission and are not the rightful owners. Latter we find out as we use special tools to try and prevent such problems, but even we cant find them all and perhaps some slip by us.
In random checks then we find out the materials are not owned by the person who gives us permission. So then we reasearch more and contact the rightful author/owner to seek permission of their work[s] and remove them if permission is not given. Currently every author that we have contacted has given us permission or allowed us to purchase a license for educational use.
This is not by any means done intentionally known as plagiarism.
Some of our articles will appear word for word as they are taken in that context but are used in this way either from books, or sites but this is done with rightful permission. We have found many sites within the same subject materials especially when talking about factual information which includes history, to have word for word discription or text. If we visit one site and check it with our resource [tools] then go to another we find that one site's material's is the same as the next? Yes word for word. This is not plagiarism of factual materials if consent or permission is granted by the rightful author or owner and such permission is posted within the article or site. Content scraping, [plagiarism] without first recieving permissions or at least posting them is plagiarism.
Dealing with history, the recording of factual information placed outside in a expression of a individual person takes away from the actual event that happened, the discription, or eye witness event. The fine line here is How a person describes it through their eyes can deal with copyrights. Factual materials from books are simply that Fact. Abraham Lincoln is my all time favorite human hero so Here is a example of what I mean: Abraham Lincoln died from his wounds at 7:22 P.M. on Saturday, April 15, 1865. This is a fact. There are thousands of sites throughout the world that state the same words. These facts could also say,Saturday, April 15th 1865, at 7:22 P.M. President Abraham Lincoln Died of the gun shot wound to his head at the Ford Theatre. We call a apple a apple, it can be green or red, or yellow, but it is still a apple so factual words can be written and expressed the same.
